Regulations

Regulations about music and dance

There are very few regulations to follow, as we wanted to create this battle as free as possible. The only thing which is very important, it is a bachata battle 😉

Styling battle is for advanced bachata dancers

You can be a hobby/amateur with advanced level of bachata dancing or professional.

There will be 4 qualifying rounds

There will be 4-8 dancers per one round and total of 16-32 dancers.

Each dancer will be divided into a round as a lottery

Battle is one against one

There will be no gender differences in categories.

Qualifying rounds procedure

  1. All participants of the round will stay in a row depending on the number they got at the lottery. First two dancers go inside the circle and start competing.
  2. Each one of the dancers dance an improvisation of 40 Seconds to a randomly picked song until the specific signal.
  3. After second dancer performed the judges decide immediately who won this battle. They show at one of both dancers without talking to each other. The votes of the judges will be summed up and the winner gets 1 point.
  4. The winner stays inside the circle to battle the next one and the loser goes to the end of the queue of the participants of this round.
  5. Whole round lasts around 15-25 minutes depending on the number of competitors.
  6. The winner of the qualifying round will be the dancer with the most points.

Half-finals and finals

In half-finals there will be only 4 dancers. They will take place right after the qualifying rounds.

The finale will be held at the Saturday Social Night right before the show program.

Winners

Winners will be announced right after finale at the main stage of the event on Saturday night. There will be only one winner.

Prizes

There will be money and Full Passes prizes for different events.

Money prizes:

1st place 300€
2nd place 200€
3rd place 100€

Terms & Conditions

The ticket for Styling Battle is not refundable. The name change is possible within the same category until 1 week before the event.

Styling Battle will take place on Saturday, 20 September 2025, if there are enough registrations (at least 16).

The winners of the categories will be announced on Saturday night before the Show program.

The money prize will be paid within 1 week after the end of the event.
